These creamy exfoliating cleansers feel amazing on the face and effectively remove excess sebum and other oil based impurities (even waterproof make-up). Like dissolves like, therefore it is important to use an oil-based cleanser as part of a daily skincare routine. The Kaolin clay in this formula gently exfoliates and aids in skin detoxification. Water-based facial cleansers cannot remove oil-based impurities, which over time leads to congested pores and manifests as black and white heads on the face. These cleansers transform into a smooth milky consistency when water is introduced during rinse off. For ideal facial cleansing, follow up with a gentle water-based cleanser (see my listings). Little goes a long way when cleansing the face with with the cleansing balm.
Ideal for: All skin types, particularly beneficial for those with combination and dry skin.
How to use: Remove about a pea sized amount of cleansing balm from the container, making sure not to introduce water into the container. Apply it on a cotton pad and spread on the face in circular motions. The cleansing balm can also be directly applied to the face with clean fingers. Rinse with water and follow up with a water-based facial cleanser. Pat dry face.
